Lanre leads the consulting engagements for McGhee in Africa and the Middle East. His vast experience in financial services, logistics, and most importantly, Information Technology, enables him to understand the needs and deeply connect with numerous clients across the African continent in Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa. Prior to joining McGhee, Lanre worked for seven years as the Public Sector Lead for East and Southern Africa at Microsoft Corporation covering 14 countries. That opportunity surfaced from working with emerging markets in Africa where he was part of a team that ran a pilot on how to engage governments and build channels of partners in seven of the least developed countries in the region. Lanre actively works on giving the best and most time to what he values most - his family. And with two energetic boys to keep up with, he’s enjoying every moment of it!
